The ever reliable and instantly recognisable S.Tec 12 Lifting Bags (12 bar / 174 psi) may look the same as always, but this next generation of high-pressure lifting bags offer. 50 % more performance*  with 2.5 cm (0.98 inch) insertion height andup to 102 tons (112 US tons) lifting power and the Max. lifting power and height are readable at the side of the bag.

How are they used?

Pneumatic lifting bags, also known as air lifting bags, are commonly used in rescue scenarios to lift heavy objects, vehicles, or even structures.

Design:  Made from heavy-duty fabric, they are designed to be lightweight and flexible when deflated, allowing them to be easily positioned under or around the object to be lifted.

Air Source:  Vetter lifting bags are connected to a compressed air source via a hose. This air source could be a portable compressor or a dedicated air supply system.

Inflation: When the compressed air is released into the bag, it inflates rapidly, expanding in size. As the bag inflates, it pushes against the ground or other surfaces, creating a lifting force underneath the object.

Lifting Force: The lifting force generated by the inflated bag depends on its size, shape, and the pressure of the air inside. Multiple bags can be used together to increase the lifting force if needed.

Control: The release of air from the bags can be controlled to adjust the lifting height and rate. This allows rescuers to lift objects gradually and precisely, minimizing the risk of sudden movements or instability.

Safety:    During rescue operations, safety precautions are essential. Rescuers need to ensure that the lifting bags are properly positioned and secured to prevent accidents or injuries. They also need to consider the stability of the object being lifted and any potential hazards in the surrounding environment.

Overall, Vetter pneumatic lifting bags provide a versatile and efficient solution for lifting heavy objects in rescue scenarios, offering a safer, portable, faster and more efficient alternative to many other kinds of lifting equipment.
