CTD High Pressure and Low Pressure Fire Fighting System

Why is the PT Rescue  “Tricoceros” HP and LP fire fighting system perfect for intervening in a bushfire outbreak?

  • Ease of deployment and commissioning:- It is equipped with a diesel or electric pump motor with an automatic hose reel for rapid deployment.
  • 200 bar (20,000 kPa) high-pressure pump:- The HP position creates a water mist that allows the temperature of the fire to be rapidly cooled with a delivery of only 21 litres a minute.
  • 5 Bar (500 kpa) low-pressure position (LP):- creates e a deep wetting / cooling finish to extinguish the fire.
  • Wetting/foaming tank:- The addition of this class A foam additive at 5 Bar (500 kpa) makes it possible to create a foam blanket which forms an insulating barrier to heat and is used for fuel protection, suppression, and mop-up –  consuming less water.
  • Lance with 3 positions: High-pressure (water mist), Low-Pressure water and Low-Pressure foam solution mix to switch from one mode to another for mutiple intervention techniques.
  • Consume much less water when fighting a bushfire outbreak
  • Can also be used on vehicle and structural fires.
